In 1977 Blake and his new bride, Paula, left their home in Tennessee for California where Blake attended Dental school at Loma Linda University. They returned to Memphis following graduation in 1981 providing Dr. Foust the opportunity to practice with his father for five years. |

Intensive graduate studies in implant dentistry broadened the technical aptitude for Dr. Foust when he returned to Loma Linda from 1986 to 1988. Dr. Foust was privileged to study under Dr. Robert James, world-renowned pioneer and leader in implant dentistry, and was the sixth resident to graduate from Dr. James implant program. This training continues to empower his practice in diversity of applications and quality of work.
With the birth of their first daughter, the Fousts decided to move close to Paula’s parents in Texas. Blake was active in studying Christian life principles with Bill Gothard and was convinced to not to go into debt to start a practice and to live a simple life style. (To learn more about Gothard and his programs, go to www.billgothard.com or www.iblp.org.) This commitment to financial fidelity resulted in starting with a very small office at Huguley hospital with 265 sq. ft. and used equipment. Today, a state of the art clinic that is equipped for service is a testimony of Dr. Foust’s faithfulness to the values by which he lives.
“God blessed that humble beginning and now we have a nice new modern office.”
Dr. Foust has made active church involvement and quality family time a part of his life, contributing beneficial leadership and dedication to his church and community. His friends describe him as a personable, purposeful, and progressive individual. It is his family that brings ultimate joy to Blake. A favorite activity is to take his children wakeboarding.
“My greatest success in life has been to have three terrific children with the loyal and encouraging love of my life.”
